Flashcards Maker

Build a deck, flip through it, shuffle it, mark what you know. Everything happens on this page, in your browser — nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

Your deck lives only in this tab — refresh the page and it is gone. That is deliberate: flashcards here are for tonight's revision, not another account to keep.

How this tool works

Flashcards work when they force retrieval: seeing a question and producing the answer from memory strengthens the memory far more than re-reading the answer does. The flip is the whole point — peeking early turns a memory exercise back into reading.

Using it, step by step

  1. Write questions whose answer is one fact, term or step; split double questions into two cards.
  2. Add the deck one topic at a time, then work through it: flip only after you have honestly attempted an answer.
  3. Mark cards 'known' only after two correct recalls in a row, and shuffle often so order stops being a clue.
  4. Retire known cards for a few days rather than deleting them, then test them once more before the exam.

Where it stops

Cards in this page live only in the open tab and vanish on refresh. For a deck you need for a whole term, copy the questions and answers into a document or a dedicated flashcard app with spacing built in — this page is the quick workshop, not the warehouse.
